Volunteer

The Beckley Foundation pioneers psychedelic research to drive evidence-based drug policy reform, founded and directed by Amanda Feilding as a UK-based think-tank and NGO.

We have an exciting part-time volunteer opportunity for a proofreader and copyeditor to work alongside the communications team, on a ground-breaking drug policy report. This would be a fantastic opportunity for anyone with the right background experience and a desire to contribute to the important field of drug policy.

Applicant requirements:

  • Experience in proof-reading and copyediting
  • Experience using Vancouver reference style
  • Background in drug policy is not vital, but would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of psychedelic science is not vital, but would be beneficial
  • Native English speaker

Applicants must be available for 3 to 4 weeks, beginning April, with the option to work remotely or at our Beckley Office in Oxford (OX3 9SY). If you are interested in this role, please email office@beckleyfoundation.org with a covering letter and CV no later than the 16th March 2020. Note – this is an unpaid opportunity.
