| The Beckley Trialogues are a series of discussions on the nature of the mind,
exploring different aspects of contemporary leading-edge consciousness research. They take place in the intimate setting of
Beckley Park, without an audience. They are recorded and transcribed and we hope to publish them in the Beckley Trialogue
series. |

| The first Beckley Trialogue held in December 2003 was on the subject of Location
of the Mind. The participants were the late Professor Jeffrey Grey, who was at that time Editor in Chief of one of the
leading journals in consciousness research, Behavioral and Brain Sciences, Professor Max Velmans of Goldsmiths College, London
University, and the biologist Dr. Rupert Sheldrake. |

| The second trialogue held in June 2004 focused on the question of The Survival
of Consciousness. The participants were Professor Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona, who had done innovative
research involving double-blind studies of mediums and information apparently received from deceased people, Dr. Peter Fenwick
of the Maudsley Hospital in London, an expert on near-death experiences, and Dr. Rupert Sheldrake. |

The third trialogue held in December 2004 looked at Consciousness
and Psychedelics. The participants were Prof. Ralph Abraham,
chaos maths and dynamic systems pioneer, Amanda Feilding, Director
